Intellectual Montage - two images edited together to produce an idea

Parallel Action - intercutting between 2 actions that are simultaneously happening in different locations

Match Cut - cutting from one shot to another by matching the movement of the object

Jump Cut - cutting to a similar angle of the same object to produce a jarring visual effect because the angle was not changed at least 30 degrees.


Sound - use sound as a transition to another shot
